Established in 1972 through a joint agreement between the League of Arab States and the United Nations, the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport is recognized as one of the specialized organizations of the League of Arab States.
The Academy offers a leading regional model in undergraduate education, scientific research, professional training, and specialized consultancy. It is governed by a Board of Governors comprising ministers representing 22 Arab nations.
Today, the Academy stands as an integrated educational platform, attracting more than 22,000 students from 29 different nationalities across its various campuses located in: Alexandria (Main Headquarters) – Cairo – Smart Village – Alamein – Port Said – Nile Valley (Aswan) – Latakia (Syria)
